Time Flies...

Time flies...It has been quite awhile since I last checked in....here is a photo to prove it...

What a gorgeous day.... worked on Blog Cabin Maine, Bloggers are going to be kept busy soon...  on schedule just no secrets can be revealed here...I can with confidence say it's going to be great....and yes, I have my eye on some prized pieces from that barn.....stay tuned, more to be revealed xo Victoria

Grey day outside, colorful within...getting absorbed with the needs of Blog Cabin Maine while preparing my journey back to the Keys for the Winter months...with dogs in tow, Baby Baker needing extra attention, I'm looking forward to the projects ahead, grateful I get to work in the warmth and sunshine...more to be revealed

Where does the time go ???? Can't believe my last post was more then a week ago. Baker, the new pup has us all quite distracted...Oh well, no complaints...Woke up the other morning thinking about color and how inspired I am by the palette Mother Nature provides us each and every season. So when I choose paint colors, for both interior & exterior spaces, I take into account what colors remain a constant based on where the home I'm designing might be. When it's a Northern space I think about which colors will be missed most after all the leaves have fallen and we are left with Winter's mark..If it's a Southern home, that stays green all year long, I think about what will compliment those tones best since competing with Mother Nature is never necessary xoxo Victoria

The sun is shining bright today, good time to take note of how the colors outside are changing, inspires my color choices for new DIY Blog Cabin Maine....

My inspiration comes from many places....with the snow that fell over the weekend and seeing all the trees covered with "bright white" I was reminded of why I so often dress my beds as well as table top with white linens and white plates...looks so, so clean and then whatever happens to share it's space has the best background to make it stand out and make it's own "design statement"...stay warm, stay tuned...more to be revealed as I work on DIY's Blog Cabin Maine xo Victoria
